Overnight shelter
A safe, warm bed for the night, offered with dignity. In 2025 we provided 5,955 bed nights to 138 individuals with nowhere else to sleep.
What we do
A bed, a meal, a shower, clean clothes, and someone in their corner. We cover the basics so our guests can focus on what comes next.
Our services
From a bed for the night to a caseworker in your corner, here is how we help, day and night.
A safe, warm bed for the night, offered with dignity. In 2025 we provided 5,955 bed nights to 138 individuals with nowhere else to sleep.
A welcoming daytime place to be, out of the cold or heat. Our day center logged 6,014 visits from 220 people last year.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We served 19,588 meals in 2025, most cooked by local churches, groups, and families.
Hot showers and clean clothes make a real difference for health, comfort, and confidence. Last year: 3,158 showers and 1,461 loads of laundry.
Caseworkers and partner agencies help our guests reach mental health care, recovery support, benefits, and a path toward housing.
When the heat turns dangerous, our doors open as a cooling center so no one has to ride out a heat wave outside.
The food program
Three meals a day, every day, take a small army. More than 60 churches and community groups sign up to cook and serve, and partners like the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank and local growers keep the kitchen stocked.
It adds up to close to 20,000 meals a year, one plate at a time.
Keep it running
Shelter, meals, showers, laundry, and staff, every single day. Your gift keeps the doors open for the next person who needs them.
