Wooster takes care of its own

This shelter runs on neighbors helping neighbors. Whatever you have to give, time, food, goods, or a good word, there is a way to put it to work.

A line of eleven volunteers in coats and work clothes standing shoulder to shoulder outside the shelter after a work day.
219 volunteers gave 1,250 hours across 949 shifts in 2025.

Ways to help

Find the one that fits you

Give an hour, a meal, some goods, or a gift. Every one of these keeps the doors open.

Volunteer a shift

Serve meals, help with laundry, sort donations, or lend a hand around the building. Come on your own or bring a crew. Last year 219 volunteers gave 1,250 hours.

Cook a meal

Sign up your church, business, or family to prepare and provide breakfast, lunch, or dinner for our guests. Groups of every size are welcome.

Donate goods

Bring supplies to 981 Grosjean Road during donation hours: 8 to 10am, or 4 to 6pm. Not sure what we need most? Call and ask.

Give money

A gift of any size keeps shelter and meals available. Give once or set up a monthly gift that steadies our budget all year.

Spread the word

Follow us, share our posts, and tell a friend. Awareness brings the volunteers, gifts, and support that keep this work going.

Start a drive

Rally your workplace, team, or neighborhood around a food, supply, or fundraising drive. We will help you make it count.
